Southern Alps White IPA

Tasted:06 Oct 2018
Name:Southern Alps White IPA (700)
Type:White IPA
Producer:Moa Brewing
Region:Marlborough
Rating:good-
Web Site:Not available

The colour was slightly cloudy, amber orange, with strong carbonation, and a strong foamy head. The aroma had quite sweet malt and fruit, with light crispness. There was smooth full malt, citrus wheat, and a medium crisp bitter finish. This beer was clean and dry, and it had intense flavours, and full bitterness. It was the Brewers Guild of NZ champion 2018.

Note 1 I am not really a beer expert (just an enthusiastic amateur), so please don't take my recommendations as anything more than a rough guide to these beers. I can take no responsibility if you buy a lot, on my recommendation, and then regret it!

Note 2 You may not agree with my evaluation of these beers as a lot of this is quite subjective. I tend to put a lot of emphasis on freshness and intense characteristic flavours and bouquet, so if you disagree you might just have different priorities.
